The FDA also approved a new drug for erectile dysfunction, which will be sold by e-mail (1-800-FDA-1088), on or before 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 1.

Viagra, which is sold under the brand name Revatio, works by enhancing blood flow to the penis. This increase in blood flow can help men with erectile dysfunction achieve and maintain an erection when they are sexually stimulated.
